URBAN WASH DANCE COMPANY
URBAN WASH is dedicated to the exploration of human interaction and married to social and political consciousness. We believe that every life experience contributes to how the body speaks and that through movement gestures and idiosyncrasies become language.
Our goal is to present the symbiotic relationship between visually and intellectually stimulating work through the use of multimedia and multidisciplinary sources.
The choreography is described as:
Choreography and performed "Lucid Dreaming...Black Monday" with stunning delicacy. Giving (Taro) a since of serenity and grounding. It strives for what Kennedy so effectively accomplishes...
-Emily Macel, 2006 Dance Magazine
A well-developed sense of design coupled with a unique vocabulary
-John Gamble, Artistic Director, John Gamble Dance Theatre
